The Navigon 8110 is one in a series of models to be launched by Navigon to feature at the high end of the price spectrum. Gone are the days when these models were bulky and annoying. The new sleek, stylish devices are much more appealing as they are more compact.
As soon as you lay your eyes on the Navigon 8110, you will not be able to resist buying it as even the external packaging is very attractive. The sleeve alone shows all the important icons that will feature on the Navigon 8110. These along with the pre-installed mapping material, makes this device easy to use as soon as you get it. Other items that come in box include an active car mount, SD card, USB lead, carry bag and a charging adaptor.
Some of the key features of the Navigon 8110 include panoramic view, voice recognition, reality view, lane travel assistant, MP3 player and photo viewer. Unfortunately, you will have a problem with the voice recognition and the text to speech convertor if your first language is not English.
The external appearance of the device is excellent, as the stainless steel exterior looks very expensive. The only disadvantage of this is that it weighs in at a hefty 265 g which is quite a lot for a portable navigation tool. This is not something that you will be able to carry around in your pocket for sure! Anyway, the large 4.8 inch more than compensates for this additional bulk as it is both bright and clear. The edges of the device are also really nice, as they are slightly curved. The speaker grill is at the back of the device. The stylus stows away into the exterior of the device and can be used to control every millimeter of the device’s screen efficiently. Check out the range of Navigon 8110 reviews available online.
