The Ndrive Touch is one of the new Ndrive units to hit the market later this year. Being about 40% lighter than the older models, there is no doubt that this is one of the more pocket friendly ones. You should be able to fit the unit into even the smallest space without a problem.
The user interface of the Ndrive Touch is well laid out making the main menu nice and clear. The 3.5 inch touch screen might seem a bit small at the beginning, but is big enough for you to navigate through the applications with ease. This touch screen allows a 320 x 240 pixel resolution which is sufficient to view all the roads and buildings clearly. The Windows CE net 5.0 operating system is powered by the 372 MHz Atlas III processor. This processor is very efficient as you can use it to run many applications at the same time The only downside is its battery life which only lasts for a pathetic 3 hours!
Information about the maps in Western Europe comes with the device. This information along with the points of interests makes it easy for you to find out details about any hotels, or motels on your way. All the buildings and landmarks that you come across on your journey are displayed in 3D which makes your view of the landscape you’re on very nice and accurate. The route recalculation is done automatically in case you miss your path and go in the wrong direction. This recalculated route will guide you back to your right route within seconds. The gesture recognition function on the Ndrive Touch is special only to this device as it allows you to control 3D photo navigation as well. The memory of the device can be expanded up to 32 GB using the microSD card slot. Read all the Ndrive Touch reviews online for more information.
