Tuesday, August 11th, 2009

ces_2008_navngo_3delevationThe Nav N Go navigation software is now included in Nextar’s new electronic Product model called 43LT, building a new, solid partnership between the designer and marketer with the navigation company. The new model would be the first model to include Nav N Go software.
This is most welcomed news for the Nextar users as Nv N Go come with a free lifetime subscription, with no additional charges for any report rendered to the device. From the moment the system is turned on, no activation is needed as the special features do so by itself. Also, the 43LT navigation system will have its online map updates even more advanced, giving wider scope to users soon as it will be released in the third quarter of 2009. Navteq, on the other hand, delivers the gadget’s reports on live traffic that are available on through the vehicle’s radio system.

Meanwhile, the Nextar 43LT has a simple 4.3 inch TFT touch-screen display which provides spacious, clear and colorful map images from all of the fifty states in the US, and includes Puerto Rico. It also comes with the text-to-speech technology that distinctly pronounces road names and features voice-guided directions with turn-by-turn voice prompts. Its signal reception is assured with a built-in antenna and the prompts are highly audible through a built-in speaker system. With over 1.6 million points of interest in JPEG images, and the 43LT also has the ability to play MP3 files.
On the other hand, this development between Nav N Go and Nextar could be a good start for both to develop more new products in the future. Jim Nardulli, SVP for global sales at Nav N Go consider the creation and launch of the product as a wise move of Nextar as it proves itself highly competitive in the fastest-growing GPS navigation manufacturers.
